Change of Address

It is egregious how neglectful I've been of my blog. Many complaints have been filed and measures are being taken to improve the situation. My deepest apologies to the few faithful readers of my blog whom, I have been told, have given up checking. It's time to get up to speed. After a very long couple of months, we have successfully moved and are 85% unpacked into our new house. Selling our condo was a veritable nightmare from start to finish. Adjourning to moving right after was no easy way to end it. The worst seems to be over and we are finally starting to feel settled.

Roque's parents came to spend Thanksgiving and his birthday with us. After the last few months of grown-up decisions and brutal independence, it was a relief to be somebody's child again. We had a wonderful time together. Greyson has a special connection with his Lolo. There's something about the both of them together, they are like long-time buddies. They just took to each other instantly. Every morning we brought Greyson down to the guest room to wake Lola and Lolo up with his loud laughs and crazy grunts. Mom gave Greyson a haircut in our garage. They both spent hours taming the beast that was our yard. Dad mowed our lawn. Only your parents would take on your burdens as if they were your own. We were so grateful and were grieved to see them leave.

Greyson is almost walking, still crawling like a speed demon, and transitioning to one nap a day. Lord help us all. He will walk supported, but only till he loses patience, after which he drops to his knees and tears toward his target. He is becoming a persnickety eater and has a predilection for "white" food e.g cottage cheese or plain yogurt. He doesn't like foods of different colors to touch and when blending is attempted, cries as if tortured. He loves to laugh and never wants to miss a joke.

a few things - hilarious that Greyson is such a popular boy that he must continue to make his important calls whilst you cut his hair. He is already an extreme professional. Also - nice lantern! =) Well worth the fight.
So so wonderful to read what you shared; shared what you wrote & put on the uTube..Grey2 is such a joy! Thank God for the inlaw's thoughtful visit...are'nt they sweet! You're both 'recovering' the trauma & hassle of purchasing & moving house..God's mercies endureth forever!
