Afternoons at Ah Ee's

There are no excuses, I've been just plain lazy about my blog. I feel horrible for my parents, my in-laws and all my dear friends who grace my blog with their presence. Part of the reason is that there's just too much to document of late. Greyson says too many funny things, does too many crazy things that it seems impossible to capture them with words. Nonetheless, I have to make up for things. Especially since it's Gong Gong's birthday tomorrow. Happy Birthday, Gong Gong!

The last couple of Saturdays, we've been spending the afternoons at my sister's. We have such a great time. Greyson gets to pal around with his cousins, we sit in the hot tub, play in the yard, have dinner at a sushi boat restaurant and then go get frozen yogurt. Greyson is such a creature of routine. When we were there today, he wanted us to do all the same exact things. He even wanted us to park at the same parking structure. At the sushi boat restaurant, he asked for ravioli and broccoli, the same food I packed for him the previous Saturday when we was there. Our child clings to routine. He is extremely resistant to change, and with that, coupled with an elephant's memory, he has usurped my position as being the most inflexible person in our family. That being said, you'll never get lost with him around because the child remembers every route and every turn it takes to get some place.
