Adventures in Dog Walking

We took Greyson downtown this morning and on way to the train stop, we met a friendly neighbor walking her dog. She was really sweet and let Greyson hold the leash. It was his first experience "walking" a dog. He got the concept right away, and absolutely loved it. It made me want to get a dog just for him.

Adventures with Papa this Thursday included an oil change, a trip to our old neighborhood to visit our old grocers and play time in Lake Street Park. Four more weeks till our nanny gets back. Amazingly, we are still coping. This new routine, although requiring late nights for Roque, seems to be working out for our family. It feels good to see Roque more confident with Greyson and able to take him for hours at a time without needing my input. It feels good to no longer be the only one who knows his ins and outs. Somehow, we feel more like a team again. Two half-days a week isn't an accurate picture of what life is like for me, but it sure is a larger glimpse than just the weekends.

Here's another post for my video-hungry father. I was in the kitchen when I heard Greyson calling out his colors excitedly in the living room. I came in to find him captivated by our Replay screen saver. It's the little things, people.
