Talk, Talk, Talk.

Greyson is all talk, talk, talk these days and I am the designated translator. From the moment he wakes up, the kid is jabbering. I feel like he is constantly trying to tell me something. Now, in addition to the stop signs that he pronounces with great fervor ("StopPUH!!"), he's also into calling out traffic lights. "Mama, red light!" "Mama..green light!" The other day, he started to tell me something, and I could tell he was having trouble processing when he finally blurted, "Mama! ANANA green light!"(translation: another green light). He loves to imitate and favorite impersonations of us include, "Oh really?", "I know!" and "Booyah." In addition to English words, our new nanny has also been teaching him full sentences like "Aunty took Greyson on the train." (A yi dai wei wei qu zuo huo che). He pretty much imitates anything right now, we're definitely in 'sponge' mode. We can see the gears in his head turning as he tries to put words together.
Today we spent the afternoon hanging out with Greyson's all time favorite person, Bibi (Arvin) in our back yard. Our yard has become another room in the house for us. We bought some new lawn chairs and Arvin and Roque put them together, while Greyson played at his water table. We put sand in it today and Greyson couldn't get enough of running the sand through a funnel. He'd put his finger in the hole of the funnel and say, "Stop!", then he'd pull it out and say "Go!" Roque was trimming a tree, and asked me, "More?", meaning if he should trim more off. Greyson was standing by and replied with certainty: "More." The kid has become a freaking conversationalist.
